Overcome Your Anxiety

I think most people would agree anxiety is at an all-time high this year. According to Chinese medical theory, emotional and mental shock trauma directly impact the heart and soul. Everything from witnessing injustice, to enduring periods of fear or panic, and experiencing a wide range of emotions can cause the heart to shake and scatter the sacred heart IQ.

How Can Acupressure help?

Activating acupressure points on your body is a great way to relieve stress, anxiety, and any negative feelings you may be experiencing. The following are some acupressure points you can engage to experience relief. Make sure to stay on each point for 60 to 90 seconds while doing deep diaphragmatic breathing.

Acupressure Points

  1. Yin Tang. This point is located between the medial ends of the eyebrows. Calm your spirit and reduce insomnia, anxiety, and stress by stimulating this point.

  2. Kidney 27. Located on the lower border of the clavicle two finger widths lateral to the middle of chest, this point will open and relax the chest, calm anxiety, and improve breathing.

  3. Ren 17. This point is located in the center of the chest, at the 4th rib space. This point can address difficulty breathing and sleeping when your mind is agitated. Hold or tap to help to release any breath you hold due to panic, grief, or feeling heavy in your chest.

  4. Heart 7. On the little finger side of the wrist at the wrist crease, this point is excellent for calming your heart, treating nervous chatter, poor memory, or heart palpitations. Heart 7 has a direct connection to the heart organ and is considered one of the most spirit calming spots.

Give these points a try and see how you feel. For answers to any questions relating to acupressure points, message us today!
