ACUPUNCTURE

Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a therapeutic practice that inserts hair-thin needles into multiple areas in the body and is a form of healthcare that utilizes a holistic approach to treatment. The needles are placed in accordance with each patient’s energetic imbalance. The goal of each treatment is a progression toward the resolution of the disease or symptom of the disease. Each patient's experience is different regarding duration.

During the initial intake, every aspect of the mind and body will be assessed. At Michigan Acupuncture Studio we will then create an individualized treatment plan. Using traditional Chinese diagnoses, we will insert sterile, flexible, thin needles along your body’s channels to increase blood flow and healing. Ultimately, altering physiological functions to create an internal homeostatic balance. Your initial session will last 90 minutes, and follow-up visits are 60 minutes.
